Identification of the authenticity of documents
AiD Control provides the ability to instantly identify officially issued documents and verify their authenticity using state-of-the-art technology. By performing a series of forensic tests that focus on the quality and specifics of specific types of documents, the software can recognize documents from around the world. A key component of AiD Control is a library that contains metadata samples of more than 3,400 documents. It recognizes all documents issued according to ICAO 9300 (standard passports and e-passports) as well as non-standard passports. You can check ID cards, passports, visas, driver’s licenses, military IDs, alien residence permits and more.

The AiD Control library allows you to use a suitable reader to
- classify the identity document – identify the issuer, the exact type and series of the document
- extract data from the document (like MRZ, it contains mapped fields from VIZ, 1D and 2D barcodes, RFID chips and magnetic stripes)
- perform a series of security checks to determine the authenticity of the document
- get detailed data, test results, original images, and a number of partial images
